STATEMENT ON THE 76THANNIVERSARY OF THE NATIONAL LIBERATION DAY OF KOREA
BURNABY, BC – The Honourable Yonah Martin, Grand Patron of Korea Veterans Association of Canada Heritage Unit, released the following statement on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the National Liberation Day of Korea (Gwangbokjeol):
“On this important day, Korean Canadians and Koreans around the world are marking the 76th anniversary of Korea’s independence from Japanese colonial rule after more than three decades of oppression and suffering.
