A strong oak has fallen in Canada
The sorrowful news that
Veteran Peter Seiersen has passed on
It is amazing, but in the long scheme of our world’s evolution, a transitional phenomenon occurred and affected virtually all soldiers who served in the Korean War. Knowing so or not they became transfixed by that beautiful country and its people, albeit they faced intolerable hardships and saw humanity at its lowest ebb during the days of that desperate war.
With greatest respect I allude to veteran Peter Seiersen from Canada, who left us physically at 3 o’clock in the morning, Vancouver time, on December 26, but who will remain in the hearts and thoughts of his comrades until they, too, have passed.
