INTRODUCTION OF NEW EXECUTIVE TEAM OF CANADA BULGARIA PARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP GROUP
OTTAWA, ON – On May 2nd, 2017 the Canada-Bulgaria Parliamentary Friendship Group held its Annual General Meeting on Parliament Hill to elect new officers (for the 2017-2018 sitting), followed by a networking reception hosted by His Excellency Nikolay Milkov and the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Following the Annual General Meeting, remarks were shared by both Co-Chairs Sen. Yonah Martin and MP Joe Peschisolido, Ambassador Nikolay Milkov and Elena Aminkova on behalf of the national Bulgarian community. The program ended with a special performance of “Amazing Grace” by Dr. Brian Crowley on the small bagpipes and Ralitsa Tcholakova on the violin.
