COMMEMORATING THE KOREAN WAR
BURNABY, BC – On June 25, 2016 The Honourable Yonah Martin, Korean community leaders of Metro Vancouver and Veterans of the Korean War participated in a special wreath-laying ceremony at the Ambassador of Peace Korean War Memorial to commemorate the 66th Anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War.
VANCOUVER, BC – On June 24, 2016 Ambassador Kie-cheon Lee, Consul General of the Korean Consulate in Vancouver graciously hosted an annual luncheon for Korean War Veterans and their family members at his official residence. Formal speeches by Amb. Lee, Sen. Martin, John Bishop, Peter Seiersen, Art LeFevre and Woo Seok Lee were followed by a tasty Korean meal and “Arirang”.
