OTTAWA, ON – On June 7th, 2016 the Canada Korea Interparliamentary Friendship Group (CKIFG) and the Canada Korea Society (CKS), in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, held the 5th Annual Canada-Korea Dialogue Series on Parliament Hill. In attendance were over 100 guests including Parliamentarians, dignitaries, Korean War Veterans, regional community leaders and stakeholders. This year’s panelists focused on the theme “Bilateral Collaboration in Science, Technology, and Innovation & Strategic Partnership in a Changing Global Environment”.
The evening opened with special opening remarks from The Honourable Stéphane Dion, Minister of Foreign Affairs, moderated by the Honourable Yonah Martin and MP Chandra Arya, Co-Chairs of CKIFG and Mrs. Young Hae Lee, President of CKS.
