Senator Yonah Martin Honoured With King Clancy Award

TORONTO, ONTARIO – On February 6th, 2016 The Honourable Yonah Martin, Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, was honoured with the King Clancy Award from the Canadian Foundation for Physically Disabled Persons (CFPDP). She received the prestigious award at CFPDP’s 32nd Annual Great Valentine Gala.

The gala was attended by hundreds of guests, including the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario, The Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell among other dignitaries, Paralympic athletes, sponsors and supporters of CFPDP. The Foundation raises awareness and funds for people with physical disabilities, and supports many organizations, programs, services and events for physically challenged Canadians.
