VANCOUVER, BC –The Honourable Yonah Martin. Senator Martin was joined by Yong Hoon Lee, President of the Korean Society of BC and by Seung-Ki Chae, President of the Koreans Seniors Society at the Korean Society/Senior’s Centre today at a press conference with regional Korean media.
Senator Martin first highlighted the New Horizons for Seniors Funding for the Korean Seniors Society previously awarded by the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of HRSDC in the amount of $25,000. The funding will be used for Korean Seniors computer program to educate and empower seniors with skills to navigate their way in the technological world.
