OTTAWA, ON – The Honourable Yonah Martin along with Parliamentarians, Diplomats, and community leaders gathered at the National Gallery of Canada on October 3, 2012 to celebrate the National Foundation Day of Korea. October 3rd commemorates the foundation of Gojoseon, the ancient Korea, by King Dangun Wanggum in 2333 B.C. The Korean word for this day is Gaecheonjeol (Opening of Heaven).
