OTTAWA, ON – The Honourable Yonah Martin commemorates Veterans Week with living heroes of various wars and peacekeeping missions, and remembers the sacrifices that were made throughout Canada’s war history.
Senator Martin began her Veterans Week by participating in the Wreath Laying Ceremony with veterans and Members of the Standing Committee of Veterans Affairs and the Senate Sub Committee on Veterans Affairs. Committees of both Houses came together with The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs Canada, to pay tribute to our veterans at the National War Memorial.
